Presentation Overview
Distalization of the maxillary dentition is necessary for nonextraction Class II treatment, but it is challenging to achieve bodily movement without extrusion of the molars. In such cases, we may consider using temporary anchorage devices (TADs) to correct Class II malocclusions in adults and adolescents. This lecture presents various challenging cases where TADs and clear aligners were used, not only for sagittal but also for vertical correction to improve patients' profiles, and the treatment outcomes will be discussed.
