Who: In addition to an excellent line-up of speakers from our own membership, we will have the opportunity to hear from guest speaker Dr. Michael Gunson from Santa Barbara, CA. He received his Medical Degree and Specialty Certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from UCLA. Upon completion of his training, Dr. Gunson partnered with Dr. G. William Arnett at the Center for Corrective Jaw Surgery in Santa Barbara, California. His surgical practice is limited to facial aesthetics and reconstruction. Dr. Gunson lectures internationally and publishes his research on orthognathic surgery, facial aesthetics, obstructive sleep apnea and the treatment of TMJ arthritis and condylar resorption.
Our breakfast guest speaker will be Dr. Bill McNeill who is a retired orthodontist from the Seattle area, former member of the NW Component of the Angle Society, and past president of the PCSO. He was a full professor at the UW Department of Orthodontics until 1990. The topic of his presentation is “Adventures in Environmental Activism”. It is the personal story of his “second career” as an environmental activist at the local, regional, and national level.

**We have made a number of sleeping room commitments and the importance of reserving a hotel room at The Fairmont Orchid cannot be stressed enough. EHASO, NW Component makes every effort to keep participants expenses at the meeting, registration fees, and hotel rooms for the meeting as low as possible. We work hard to negotiate the best hotel rates and to make the best use of your registration dollars to keep the meetings affordable. Those that stay outside of the hotel block put those commitments in jeopardy, resulting in additional fees that EHASO, NW Component would be responsible for, should it not meet those commitments. This may also result in an increased conference registration rate for those attendees to cover any expected shortfall on our commitments. By reserving a room at The Fairmont Orchid, you are helping to support not only the Meeting in 2022 but also future meetings.
